Cardiovascular Diease and Metabolic disorders

GE Healthcare is developing or seeking products for the following areas of cardiology:

• Imaging of cardiac perfusion and function. Specific targets of interest include:
  • Non-nuclear contrast agent for quantification of perfusion, so imaging can be dissociated from the stress procedure.
• Imaging of metabolic processes and receptor density/function for early detection and monitoring of heart disease
• Fibrotic disease
• Chronic inflammatory disease

Other cardiac imaging opportunities will be evaluated on an ad-hoc basis.
